Author Topic: What are the flaws in this PC?  (Read 930 times)

My friend is looking to buy a PC at around 600 dollars, so I told him I would look around. I showed him this, and he was wondering why this was so cheap.

What is bad about this PC? The graphics card? It still is very cheap considering the hardware, right?

Also, I know it's out of stock atm

The only thing I can find bad about it is that it's prebuilt and you can't do hydravision.

Well, what's wrong is tha- ...

...  It kind o- ...

...forget there's nothing wrong with it really.  The graphics is a bit in between medium and high end, but other than that it's good.

He wants to play Portal 2, TF2, G-Mod, L4D2, maybe some Call of Duty and GTA4, and games like that.

It should run fine on that.

More GB of graphics would be better.

Yeah, but you only really hit above 1GB of VRAM when you go for the incredibly expensive extremely new extremely high end cards.

Yeah, and even then, why?

You don't need that at this point.

Overkill. :(

The problem? It's out of stock.
:cookieMonster:

the only time you will ever need more than 1GB of VRAM is if you're running an eyefinity/nvidia equivalent setup with multiple monitors.

It would play all apart from GTA4. Well, it'd play it, just not smoothly.

I'm not even going to attempt to explain why the VRAM of a GPU isn't as important as it's core.

I don't like the brand and the RAM is a little low, but its low price is because of AMD CPU and graphics.
