Author Topic: URGENT HELP I HAVE A VIRUS THAT WONT LET ME STARTUP (Read 1607 times)

I have this virus, called pppidgrp
As soon as i started up my PC unnoticed I forgot there was a mysterious .exe i needed to terminate on every start up so i could eventually get rid of it.
But by the time I got there it had already crashed my PC, and now it wont start up! It shows the standard blue starting screen with all the command options, but after that it just leaves me at a blank screen with the cmd cursor blinking.
Please blocklanders, I NEED YOUR HELP

and so you wont make any useless posts inquiring why i can make this post, im using my parents computer temporarily

Find some antivirus rescue cd.

Otherwise use the repair option on your windows cd.

Do you know where the virus's base files are located?

its a refurbished computer my school sent me temporarily.
but i still need to use it

didn't work
the boot menu just brings up which device i want to boot first, but it still doesnt do anything

You know, you could just search the virus and look for a solution for removal.
