so basically it's just there to be there. i still don't like this idea, i think it complicates things too much. it's like having two televisions showing different parts of the game.

I'm going to call it the Cafe. forget the herpiderp name WEEOOEEEOOEEO I'M A POLICE CAR HAHAHAHA
I DO BELIEVE OUR MINDS ARE LINKED.
I SAID THAT A FEW TIMES THIS MORNING, THE SAME WAY YOU SAID IT.

On-Topic: Do want.

I do not see the appeal in this.

First off the new PS Vita is this controller, except it looks nicer and has more features. (The Vita that is)

Next, you need to buy a whole new console, to play just a bit better games, the same thing you can get on PS3 or XBOX.

So really this was a total waste for Nintendo, and this is one thing I do not, and will not, enjoy.
If you ignore all features, the Wii U will still have more processing power than the Wii. So it is still important to get the new console. This might be similar to what the Vita will offer, but the important part is how it's used.

An example would be the iPad compared any other tablet. Even though they are both tablets, Apple seems to have found a better interface (or they have a very good PR team which is very possible.)

this is stupid. you need the actual wii to use it, so it's not portable. it's like playing wii on an ipad basically. only more stupid.

um no. its not some accessory, its a whole separate new console.

You still use a Wiimote, I think.

It's pretty neat to be able to play console games without a TV. If you say why not get a handheld, it's because regular consoles have more power (although we don't know the specs of the Wii U yet.)

Have you ever played four swords for the gamecube, with a gba for everyone? It's extremely fun and is just one example of what having multiple screens can do.

4-swords is an awesome loving game. the only problem was there was no online network yet in those nintendo days.
so getting a 4some in person with game boy advances wasnt likely.

New psp has graphics comparable to ps3.

When I pronounce it, I think of a childish fashion of making police sirens. An example some other users might know is Spongebob, the one where he's a maniac.

i can still make jokes about it :c

Sure, but you sure can't dance like your avatar. The Wii U would go "Wtf?"
