well, it's called NXC, it's basically a version of C but it's used to code robots
It's not that stupid GUI that mindstorms comes with. you can't make screen animations and videogames you can play on a mindstorm screen with that, now can you?

Neat. I've used C to code robuts before, but that required a lot more effort than mindstorms.
I'm going to look into learning this "NXC" and then finally be able to program my mindstorms robot because I have an old version that doesn't work with Vista!

Actually, if you have an old version you have to use RCX. NXC is for the NXT, basically. There's only a couple of differences, but you can do a lot more on the NXC than the RCX. Don't let that get you down, you can still make awesome stuff with RCX.
