Because I can't model worth a stuff.

Maybe find someone who will model for you?

Maybe find someone who will model for you?
Let me guess, you?

Anyways, if I were to use SNES-like graphics, I would stick to the traditional way.

Usually sprite layers are 16x16 to 32x32 unless it's a background layer.

Then you choose colors from the 16-bit palette

Then out of all the colors, you can only choose 10 colors per layer.

When I was playing truces salvage mod, I thought up an idea for something like this, Rip up buildings, make a base, get weapons and try to defend them.

That's what I'm going for, yes.

Maybe find someone who will model for you?

I could possibly ask Bushido, because I know he's pretty good. Anyone who would aid me in development gets a share in profit.

But who knows how long until I actually get started on this.

It only sounds like those games because it's a loving zombie survival. There's really nothing to build off of with that genre.
salvage, starvation, sleep deprivation, poisoned water, and so
much more.

Because obviously that's only in FONV and L4D and not in real life at all!

Haha, I'm kidding.
You'd have to be stupid and an idiot to think that that stuff is 'ripped off from other games' because most elements in games are from real life.

Also if people help and they get a share of the profit I'll make from scratch (or heavily edit) some sounds so I can get moneyyyyy can feel useful.
And I'm going to actualy try and focus on making sounds instead of forgetting to do them.

I've never seen it it any other GOOD games, plus leave the game making to the professionals with access to much more powerful game engines than hes probably going to use.

Haha, you're almost down to Killer2-level now.

Besides, I suppose I could help out a bit (if wanted) with the game programming itself.

in this post: entrepreneurship is evil and my opinion is limited to 5 games that are completly original and any other games with then are not good and ripoffs.

Share of profits won't be that much money, though.

And it will be awhile before I actually start making this. I need to get comfortable with a programming language, first.

Hey, dipstuff, look at Minecraft. Made completely with a cheap java program. Minecraft's code is sloppy and amateurish, and the game is almost too simple, but Notch is swimming in cash due to it's loving gigantic success.

That's fine, I just need some sort of income to prove to my dad I'm not worthless.

C++ is one of (if not) the best and rather easy to learn, I'd go with that.

This came out better than i thought, but i didnt see the 16-bit color thingy until after i finished :I

I could help with the Graphics Also :D

Well, out of five dollars per purchase, you'd be getting like a dollar and a half for every purchase.

And I'm not going to guarantee that it's gonna be a success.

Depends on the coding 'personality'. Different languages are for different games.

Also, if this game becomes that much of a success, then I'm gonna attempt to get it on the XBLA because that would be loving awesome

I would appreciate that. Just don't start working on anything since all there is of the game so far is an idea.
