what the point in having a girlfriend at this age? It's not like you can hold the relationship until marriage. It's doomed to end in heartbreak.

but it's very true. I've had a lot of relationships- all ending in heartbreak obviously. There's no point in dating as a child because half the time it's just you seeing everyone else with a bf/gf, so you want one.
Yes, some girls are very pretty, but it's not worth the trouble of drama, heartbreak, etc. Until you finally find someone you love later in life, maybe your highschool sweetheart.
