All browsers have the same speed, just the javascript loading is faster and the speed itself is based off network speed.

Firefox is faster than Chrome for me, both in starting times and general usage (though I do use Firefox 7) Also 'cuz NoScript.

Also I prefer SRWare Iron or Chromium (for more advanced users) over Chrome, since they're both open source, so you might want to look into those.

i've used chrome before, it's slow as forget, and I couldn't use ANY toolbars.

on firefox 4 toolbars are optional and it's faster.

IMO

When was before.

Firefox was excellent for me, but when I used Google Chrome I never switched back.

You stick to your browser, and I stick to mine.

Now let's go beat the crap out of IE.

However, AFAIK they require admin to install, which means that you can't use them on school computers, etc. Also, they are more of a hassle once installed since neither of them auto-update.
I gave up on Firefox weeks ago lol. Using Chrome now :3
I gave up on Firefox when Chrome was in version 1.

I had firefox. It sucked. I stuck to default.

You guys must have bad computers or something.

Once i tried firefox/chrome, i stuck to those 2 browsers and never looked back.
Then i found opera. Never used firefox much anymore.

Then you use Chromium's zip, not the installer, located here.

Whether Firefox works or not, I've always found Chrome to be faster at starting up and loading webpages.

I never did give Firefox a try. Only Chrome and IE earlier.
I use Netscape

Freeeeak.

lol when other programs are run, firefox will use less.

i just dont understand why people have 2+ gigs of memory, then bitch when its being used.
thats you getting your money's worth right there.

i WISH all resources on my comp would constantly be rocking at 90% at all times.
i WISH firefox would use 4gigs of memory in the background of my games. but it refuses to even go that high.
