you're so rebellious, lol.

Very good thread. lots of useful information. Thank you, haven't seen a thread like this in awhile. I still think this will eventually lead to a thread-locking holy war though, there are so many idiots in this forum.

well you think these organized people gather to remind each other about such simple good living tips?
hell no.

just as any religion, they have some outside the box goal.
so forget em

I hope this isn't an indirect attack to what I said a couple minutes ago, as you'd be wrong in the sense that my argument had nothing to do with religious opinions in any way, yet rather a criticism on his logic to why he's part of this group instead of classifying himself as an atheist

Feel free to criticize it all you want but this topic was meant for informational purposes and questions rather than attempting to cheap shot my ideals. Satanism isn't a religion, it's a set of principles that no one's being forced to believe. If this were a religion, it would be, "Believe what we believe or you will perish."

Okay, this is an informational thread. Lock it now, and when someone thinks, "Hey, I wonder if the topic of satanism has been discussed on the forums." they can search it and find your thread to read. Otherwise, stop complaining about my arguments.

Religion, by definition, is the belief of a deity or beliefs that have been taught and discussed. Religious persecution is exclusive to a handful of religions, and that trait isn't shared globally through all faiths. You can figure this out empirically by looking at a faith such as Buddhism which doesn't practice that.

It's unlocked so that people who have questions can ask them. I'm not complaining about the fact that you're arguing, I'm complaining about the fact that all of your arguments thus far have been on the same level of the typical Athiest douche bag trying to make a Christian look stupid.

Then you could say Athiesm is a religion, as well as vegetarianism. They're both beliefs that have been taught and discussed.

lots of fallacies going on here. Your perceived argumentative skill has just been knocked down 10 notches.

Atheism is a disbelief in a deity, not a religion. Deities and religions are two different things with two different definitions. Vegetarianism isn't a belief, it's a diet. You could consider a love for animals as a belief, but that isn't what vegetarianism is.

Too bad that his presented concepts are identical to that of a person who simply rejects any form of religion or theist belief.
