Author Topic: Holy forget this song has a deep meaning  (Read 4052 times)

I can ride my bike with no hadlebars =

I can live my life with no control.

As stated in the OP lol

In one part he says

"And it feels so good to be alive and on top."

Saying that it's awesome to have power over everything, representing mans want for more and more power.

"I can make anyone go to prison, just because I don't like them,"

Suggests that the power is now running to his head, turning him into a power hungry tyrant,

"And I can end the planet in a holocaust,"

Shows the ultimate downfall of man due to it's selfishness and want for power.
Then, the song restarts at "I can ride my bike with no handle bars" shows them returning to the beginning after destroying everything.

Your theory is good.

I think it can be interpreted in several different ways, though.

it would be really funny if flobots just wrote down gibberish and everyone is trying to interpret it.

I think it means he can ride a bike without handlebars.

Your theory is good.

I think it can be interpreted in several different ways, though.

Like actually being able to ride a bike with no handlebars?

:>

I think both Asa and Jorici can be right, I can see both.

Sheesh though.

Also Tool sucks. :D

I think both Asa and Jorici can be right, I can see both.
Sheesh though.
I think my theory is more likely.

I think my theory is more likely.
i think your a shallow forget without an ability to comprehend things, or laugh at them.

just a theory

Personally it looks like an uprising. The president, who was also a friend, as noted as them riding the bike together and talking on the telephone in the beginning, whereas the friend who became the president started climbing the ladder of success, as noted by seeing him shake hands with a corporation owner, with a backdrop of a company's profit skyrocketing, and eventually the man becomes the president, whereas his friend sees him lying his way up to the spot, and becoming more and more corrupt. Eventually, that corruption shows up in his presidency office, and his old friend starts an uprising against the government, and that tall tower would represent the capital building or the white house, and during the march to the capitol, the riots get violent, forcing military action with them. The riot guards in the end must represent the secret service, protecting the president no matter what, even with his corrupt office.

That's what I originally though.

Now, here is the bigger view, combined with Asa's theory, that the uprising represents the countries of the world, the president is the US government, corruption and all, ande the secret service are the U.S. military, with the somewhat peaceful protests so far, they start to get violent, throwing objects, aka missiles or something, at the military, and the military open fires on the country. The president sees what he has done to the world, and has a look of horror on his face.

Eh, not really everything in my theory, but whatever.

OR MAYBE IT'S JUST A SONG ABOUT MAKING GOALS AND THE GUY WHO PRODUCED THE MUSIC VIDEO IS THE ONE CREATING THIS DEEP MEANING.

I think you're a shallow forget without an ability to comprehend things, or laugh at them.
What am I supposed to comprehend and laugh at?

I found out that Asa's theory was right, not mine. I listened to it several more times, lol.
