Author Topic: What grades did you end the school year with?  (Read 1995 times)

dat Ireland
it's funny because if i was actually able to start the test with everyone else i would have gotten an A

B C S A B (a)D (b)C
As much as I want to say all F's, just to be different, that's just not the case.

A in science (97%)
A in spanish (85%)
A in english (89% wtf)
A in irish (85%! yay!)
B in maths because I accidentally skipped a whole question in the test, which was worth 20%. Still got 70%, so it's an A in my heart.
B in history (72%) I didn't start paying attention until literally, the end of the year.
C in geography (59% lol. Still did better then 80% of my year :D)
E in Technical graphics. I wasn't able to start the test until it was well 3/4 of the way through. I got 1 and a half of 4 questions done. Got 32%. I have 96% average otherwise.
B in metalwork. (78%)

This furthers my wants to move to Ireland.

I actually think the system of learning in Ireland is really good. The grades in Ireland are as follows:

A1 = 90%+
A2 = 85-89%
B1 = 80-84%
B2 = 75-79%
B3 = 70-74%
C1 = 65-69%
C2 = 60-64%
C3 = 55-59%
D1 = 50-54%
D2 = 45-49%
D3 = 40-44%
(below 40 is a fail)
E   = 25-39%
F   = 10-25%
NG = <10% (NG stands for No Grade.)

I used to get straight As but somewhere between then and high school I lost the motivation for it.
