1 step ahead of you guys. I'm already outside in Dropshocks cardboard box behind Starbucks. Thus the Internet.

Regardless of the reason for his rage, their is a distinct difference between discipline and pointless destruction. If his father wanted to punish him he could have simply taken these items away. That is a punishment. Completely smashing them though is uncalled for. Its a random act of violence. His dad was mad and was looking for the easiest things to break that weren't his. And the fact that his dad did not even buy the items in the first place is ten times worse.

There is obviously more to this story than you are telling us. No one just destroys your stuff. You have to make them mad.

Obviously we'll need his dad to make a forum account and tell us his side of the story.

Yeah.

Either your dad is a complete piece of stuff, or you did something you haven't told us which led him to break your stuff.
If it's a, get some help. Seriously. I wouldn't stand living with that kind of guy for a month.
If it's b, talk him out of it. You bought those stuff yourself, so he should've just taken them away and not break them.
