Crank is a good book.

The hunger games series is good.

Percy Jackson is good.

I just suggested star wars because it's for a higher grade level and such.

But seriously, as it seems you didnt take my reccomendation seriosuly, Storm thief was the best of about 40 books that I read from my library this year. The author is Chris Wooding. All of his books are amazing fiction books.

try the Cherub series (1st book is called the recruit) i had to read it in 8th grade and it was actuallies really good
