That is not his card, and that is the exact same connector on both of them.

I don't see where you're going, they'll both work if you plug them into the same PCI-e slot.

My GTS 450 came with a thing to convert VGA to that.

GTS 450 IS dual-slot though. Be sure you have space.

I had to move another little phone line card thingy to be able to fit mine.

Well, all that matters is if you have the right cables from your power supply and a pci slot on you mobo which you do, but if you want to get a more powerful card for a bit more just go with a gtx260 or the gts 450, either one will work.

If you get the one I said, it comes with most everything you need. Comes with a power supply cable, a CD to install DirectX 11 and drivers, and as I said earlier, a thing to make it so you can plug your VGA monitor in if you didn't already have one.

If that's the case, every GPU out on the market comes with convertors for DVI (what's shown there) to VGA.
