Can't make Server

Nomatter what i do, (like forwarding my ports) i cant get server to work. It always appears as dead! I know a lot of other people ask this, but i can't find it. So i'm going to just going to get straight to the top,
HOW DO YOU MAKE A SERVER THAT"S NOT DEAD ALL THE TIME?!?!

This should be in Help, not General Modifications Help. You need to forward you ports. Look here: http://blockland.us/portforward/index.html (Found on front page)

EDIT: Well, it sounds like you just forwarded your ports incorrectly. Try a different method?

or your firewall may be blocking BL.

I am using a wireless adapter, so I'm guessing its impossible to forward my ports cause I used Badspots tutorial and my providers site is nothing like the example at all, I tried disabling all my firewalls and anti-spyware programs and nothings worked.

Well to get past my firewall i do this:

1. Start a server
2. Leave it and go to join game.
3. Join my dead server and leave before it says Timeout
4. Join any random server and leave the second it starts to load
5. go host my server.

Works 90% of the time but sometimes server goes dead again. (Dosent if people are in it).

What I do is:

+Turn off Router & Software Firewall
+Open the ports
+Host
+Enable Router firewall
+When session is over restore everything, but don't delete the port forwards. Thats just stupid
