Author Topic: Forwarded ports, No firewall and no av, Still not working.  (Read 3828 times)

I even tried 28000-28032 and still not doing anything here.. Same with upnp. My cousin is begging me to make a server and I don't know why it's not working, I can make servers for all valve games just fine except for blockland. Ping is --- and "sending punch packet" when he attempts to join. Also using a belkin router, windows 7 64-bit.

Set an exception in Windows Firewall. Even if WF is turned off, it still manages to force some of its blocks.

I'll try that.

It didn't work and I tried using different ports aswell.

What is the exact model of your router?
This is just for reference purposes.

Just a though, but some servers host on port 28100

You absolutely positively sure that is your local IP?

Check.

Wait what? I thought it was 28000-28030?

I lost the box to it.. I'll have to find it later.

I will try that.

Yes.

Should still work with 28000-28032 as it's opening up 2 more ports, maybe.

Didn't work, and I realized I get "No matches" spam in console when someone tries joining.

PFPort checker says the ports are open. TCP and UDP, I'm thinking it may be firewall or antivirus but they're both off and have an exception in WF.

I have this exact same issue too.

:c

I am also suffering from this issue. This didn't happen before that update with upnp, in which my ports stopped working. I'm under the impression it has something to do with not having a static IP. I'll try set up a static IP tomorrow and will post results here.

you NEED a static IP or it will screw up almost, if not all the time

I thought about this. I'll try now.
