Fun fact: When Zimbabwe was part of the British Empire, it was the most prosperous nation in Africa and was generally referred to as "The Breadbasket of Africa" because the sheer wealth of food produced and exported from the nation. Once the British Empire left and they let a black man rule the country, it's now the absolute poorest country in the entire world. Fun fact #2: Haiti is the first all-black democratic society, and it's the poorest nation in the Americas.
The exact opposite happened to South Africa. It's economy actually improved after a black president took over.

It really is. You really need to read up on how much imperialism messed places up.And look at the former Soviet Union countries. As far as I know, most of them were taken over by white people and they still aren't as economically successful as the western world.

Yes. The point is that India was colonized like every country in Africa, but unlike Africa they didn't degrade back into stuff flinging apes as soon as the white man left.
