Author Topic: "DrunkGirlRoom" - The forget is this stuff?  (Read 3072 times)

The other day, I was invited to this over MSN. I don't even know what rooms like this are. Yesterday, it actually automatically put me in it. Some bot started talking to me, I left. It happened just a few minutes ago again, which I'll quote here:

*Ohla...
MegaScience says:
*hi
alliefolmarfav says:
*I'm great thanks for chattin with me I found your name in the online members search :) whatcha up to?
MegaScience says:
*Well, I found this cat, and I've been shaving it for a good 3 days now. I think I'm almost done.
alliefolmarfav says:
*I'm not too into exchanging pics .. are you?

I can't block these, as the person doesn't have me added or anything. No options are given to block. Could someone help me? I don't know how I got onto any list, the email I use for my main MSN is my first one ever, I'd NEVER use it in a place I couldn't trust. I guess I was stupid some time long ago.

MSN has been increasingly bullstuff lately.

I'm sure more people are going to comment about the cat than the encounter

I made it up randomly to test that stuff. I know it's trap stuff, but I wanted to test if it was 100% bot or starfish-controlled. 100% bot.

oh, I see.

I opened up the "Groups" tab I always keep closed on MSN and found the stuffty thing. I blocked, then left it. But considering I've been invited a few times, I still need help making sure I can block this. Hell, block groups in general.

The above is also helpful, should anyone else get this stuff. Don't know how it got accepted, but it seems it was somehow. I was probably typing when MSN opened and it automatically-accepted. I HATE that.

And migrate all my friends and reduce all the features I have here, ya totally.

Those have been there for years... Easily ignorable.

Is that why you mainly ignore my messages even though you always log on it? :/

Groups is different from buddies. Definitely, it opened in some weird feature I've only seen there. Besides that, you can't photo share Pidgin users. That's faster than sending images or uploading them elsewhere. You also can't draw, although you can't draw to the new MSN either. Voice clips make audio sending easier without forcing the full audio in.

You could argue against all of it, but do you really care for me to switch?

So are messages from bots, u mad?  :cookieMonster:

Nah, the advertisements are quarantined off to their own areas. The bots take up regular chat windows and such.

I downloaded Malwarebytes and did a Quick Scan (Which took 16 minutes) and it found 75 infected items. I'd do a full scan, but that would probably take over a day and most of my low end crap computer's processing power. I'll do it some other time. I went searching for one of the items it found, and the trial active check detected it trying to activate itself... Scares me that just pressing "d" to quickly select it's file could activate it...
