Author Topic: Deleting registry mechanic  (Read 734 times)

I have registry mechanic on my computer and it's driving me forgetnuts. How annoying is it to be immediately brought to your desktop when you're playing in fullscreen? How annoying is it to be typing and have the box pop up at you? (Happened just now) And how are you supposed to get rid of this bugger? Is it really as easy as just putting it in the recycle bin, or is there more to it.

Get a new computer.

Don't play fullscreen.

I like fullscreen. And it happens when I'm typing, and such.

Why do you have one of those registry cleaning bullstuff programs anyway?  Most of the time they're scams anyway.

They're also useless because cleaning your registry won't do jack stuff.

i have the same thing

i dont play fullscreen much anymore

It came built in with the computer. I'm wondering how to delete it.

Huge bump because it's becoming a big issue now.

Go into Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel and uninstall it like every other program.
If it's not there go into your Start Menu's program list and run the uninstaller.
And if THAT doesn't work then go into Program Files and delete the Registry Mechanic folder.

If ALL THAT doesn't work then they obviously don't want you uninstalling it.
