Mac will not open Blockland

My friend has a Mac, I installed blockland for him, blah blah blah, he double-clicked Blockland.exe. The icon shows on the dock, then it disappears. Every time. I downloaded the right file and everything. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? I really want him to have blockland.

Make sure to get the Mac DMG. Not the windows .exe. exe files dont work on mac.
