I got a frw questions about making explosion shapes. Do you use mount0 or mountpiont? How do you make it mount to the ground when the projectile hits it? That is all i think...

If no mountpoint is specified a shape will assume all points needed are at the 0,0,0 point in the model. If you made the model symmetrical around that point then it would appear to be on the surface it hits. However, the shape may show on the other side of thin walls if it is too large.

No you don't. Just set the explosionShape field in the Explosion Datablock to a dts file. If you want it animated, name the animation of the explosion dts "ambient" and it will play automatically when it spawns.
