Which Laptop should I get?

I'm in the market for a new Laptop. My budget is around $1000. I'll mainly be using it for gaming.
I want to be able to play Guild Wars 2 and Battlefield 2 when they come out.

I want an HP, and I've decided on two models.

So which should I get?

well if you must get a laptop, get the hp pavillion entertainment laptop.

although i do not suggest getting a laptop, because building a $700 computer would be a stuff ton better than a $700 laptop. plus you can upgrade the parts in the desktop rather than in a laptop where the components are set in place and cant be tampered with.

I made the mistake of getting a laptop. It has great gaming capabilities, but when it overheats (which is often), it runs like an 80's rig.

I've got an idea.
Build a gaming PC with 700 bucks, and use the other 300 for a laptop.

My dad has got a toshiba laptop.
Its 800$ and it runs like stuff.

While my compaq runs great and its only 300$.
