Many people have been wondering why so many troll accounts have been made. It's simple, really.
Let's say somebody makes an account called "obviousalt353". He acts like an idiot, spams and crossposts threads.
Normally people react by reporting and moving on. Now here's the problem, you guys (And me) are being too bothered by it. People troll for two reasons, and two reasons only.
1. To start stuff
2. To get attention of any kind
Now, I'm not saying to start being nice to trolls, that doesn't help at all. To deal with this entire troll issue, and make it disappear, just simply start ignoring them.
Completely. Report them and act like they don't exist. What does this do?
1. It doesn't start stuff
2. The troll gets no attention
Huh! It's almost like the troll would have then FAILED to troll...
This is the exact way to deal with a troll. No matter HOW you interact with them, any interaction will always get a guaranteed negative result. Again, the two reasons.

2. Report troll thread
3. Don't post on troll thread
4. Navigate away from thread.
And that's how you can fix the whole troll problem indefinitely.
