Oh, I was just hinting at the bizarre name of yours.

I like classic rock, and various sub genres of metal.

What do you have? Maybe I can steer you towards some good metal that will ease you into the screaming. It's an acquired taste, and most of the bands I listen to have a mix of epic breakdowns/screaming and great melodies/harmonies/singing in general.

the thing about metal is that its good if im pumped, but theres no way that it could be the only thing i listen to, and right now i have through the fire and flames and a song called godspeed by anberlin (not sure if you can classify that as metal or not)

I listen to metal as I'm falling asleep :3

Try:
Asking Alexandria
Atreyu
Avenged Sevenfold (older stuff)
Evergreen Terrace
Funeral for a Friend
The Human Abstract
Killswitch Engage
Soilwork
Story of the Year
We Came As Romans

Most of this is not very hard metal, but it's catchy singy metalcore. Give it a listen, let me know what you think. Just look stuff up on youtube, I'm too lazy to include links.

I've bolded bands that are especially good introductory to metal (metalcore, at least). Dragonforce is not meant to be listened to.

My favorite song by Yellowcard. Its called Rough Landing, Holly
The original music video got taken out. :/
The song is not a hardcore metal song.
