I turned in schoolwork on floppy disks all the time when I was in elementary school, but no matter how much I begged my parents I couldn't get one of those "Thumb drives" that had EIGHT WHOLE MEGABYTES OF MEMORY. Like seriously, I remember using floppys all the time because you could use them multiple times unlike a CD where you had to get a new one every time you wanted to burn a new file, but like everyone else had a cool little gadget that was a 10th the size and held like 8 times as much memory.
