My friend, Daniela told me about this Japanese Potty training video, which is quite awkward and disturbing. You can see the person's richard if you look closely. There's actually 3 versions of this: Chinese, Home, and Public.

fun fact: many non-western countries still use toilets that require squatting to use, since that is the way nature intended us to poop and therefore arranged our poop organs

 I've encountered that type of toilet many times.
They are heavily used in second world countries, the worst I've ever encountered was a concrete bunker with a series of parallel holes in the floor.

One time I was watching a Japanese horror movie and there was a toilet like that and I was so loving confused.

You live in Europe, they exist there mostly around villages.
