It's funny because getting all that is really unnecessary. You could have easily saved like $850 and gotten a computer that will suit your needs. That is of course, unless you plan on running 6000 notepad documents at the same time or plan on making a movie.

My mouse's batteries lasted forever. Its just annoying as hell always having the cord wrapped all over the damn keyboard tray.

Accurate paint depiction of my slider tray, explain how this could ever become a problem.

Bye

forget, Im not getting a mouse

I was going to get one but I already have one from Logitech, and its wireless.

But I want to run Crysis 2 and spawn thousands of barrels

You probably should have made a topic or something before ordering everything.

You spent alot of extra money and unnecessary things. Sandy bridge would have performed quite a bit better than the processor series you chose and it would have been cheaper too. That graphics card is honestly unnecessary... But, it's your money so best of luck. (You didn't need the thermal paste btw.)

I'm actually even wondering how well an 800w power supply will do holding up that much hardware...

Edit: Tomthegeek and swatch built that for you? lol

This computer wouldn't even be good for either of those...

You also forgot windows 7. Unless I missed it.

That'll be quite nice to have on your desk.

Tok, the cord often somehow gets stiff (hah) and sticks around the keyboard area. It also constantly touches my leg like it wants me.

You should have posted here before ordering, I agree, these people are the tech pros of the world. :o

I could use some Nerds, so yummy.

This except for the power supply bit. The power supply will hold all this up just fine.

Forgot to say
Tomorrow as in not in today, but on the 16th.
Like I have to wait 24 more hours.

>sandy bridge

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

Are they worth it? I'm getting a AMD Phenom II x4 @3.40 GHz on my new build later this year. I want to go with an AMD CPU this time.

I've been using an Intel 2500k for a few months now (a Sandy Bridge processor) and I find the performance to be exceptional. They have fairly high overclocking potential too. This is all anecdotal of course, but the benchmarks available on tech sites support it.

If you're on a tight budget an AMD processor isn't a terrible compromise. Just be sure to check out the reviews/benchmarks of the various models and don't be fooled into thinking a 6-core processor is going to grant you any performance advantages in games.
