Psionics, in simple terms, is the manipulation of a mysterious (and as far as I know, undetectable by science, but I may be wrong) energy created by the body, refered to as Psi.

There are several branches of Psionics, including

Psychokinesis/Telekinesis (interchangeable for the most part)

Constructs (Creating things ranging from simple psi-balls, to complex things such as sentient constructs)

ESP (extra sensory perception)

Scanning (sensing people when you otherwise wouldn't be able to)

Getting started with Psionics is fairly easy, the first thing you can do is learn how to make a Psi-ball, and I just so happen to have a few tutorials on the subject.

If the psiball tutorials in this thread aren't comprehensive enough for you, I recommend poking around psipog,

if you want to throw a psiball at somone/somthing, you need to "program" it. this can be done by creating a "shell" of energy around the psiball and then intending it do do somthing, some people do this verbally, some mentally, but you have to believe it's going to happen, without belief, I think the most you can do is gather energy into one point, some can't even do that, but that's just what i've read.

also, don't expect to be able to manipulate physical objects with psiballs right off the bat, you most likely need to know how PK (psychokinesis) works before you get any good results.

I read the wikihow and kinda got it to work. I felt something.

I used my right hand and I opened a hole in the center of it. The Psi I imagined was a blue gas. I cubed it and held it's corners between my thumb and middle fingertips. It would dissipate unless I spun it like a top between my fingers. I filled it with a darker blue and flicked it away, I had filled it with thoughts of my friend Cameron. He called me about 30 seconds later.
