Well it works with Nascars, I don't know about any other cars.

It's animated with every car you use in single player. Multiplayer does not show the pit animations

I'm pretty sure it works for all cars in all races. Although I never do pit. Haven't done any endurance/nascar races yet so haven't had to. :P

I'm not sure, I just know it's a lot. You need to be level 30 to even unlock it in the dealership or w/e im pretty sure. You can also get it by getting to level 35 B-Spec, and there is a challenge you unlock at level 30 to have a chance of winning 1 of the 3 models.
The car has such amazing handling due to a fan under the body which sucks all the air out from under the car and blows it out the back, generating huge down force and letting it corner on a dime.
