I chuckled at the idea, but seriously.

Uh, I'm assuming your GPU expansion slot is PCI-E and not AGP.
I'm also assuming that your CPU is good enough not to bottleneck a high end GPU.
Please post a DXDIAG, and we will help with the best upgrades. No point getting a high end GPU if your single core Pentium 4 will cap it.
Start>Run>dxdiag.
Post entire contents of 1st tab and Display tab.

FIND THE CHEAPEST GTX 560 (or 550ti) YOU CAN FIND, please? I don't think I would be playing games like Metro 2033.
If you buy one of the new mid-range Radeon HD cards or NVIDIA GTX cards with similar specs it would be both cheaper and more power efficient, and it would benefit from new driver updates and should be able to use all the new features in the new versions of direct x that come out every once and a while. Buying outdated high end parts that are being discounted because people are trying to empty out their warehouses to make room for new cards is never a good idea.

Was there nothing on your existing GPU?
Also, are you certain that your slot is PCI-E?

I'm not getting a new case, so I'm a little scared that the cooler master cooling fan (which faces up) will get clogged with dust and eventually forget up and fail, but I think this setup is fine otherwise.
