I'm probably going to get trolled for this, here goes.
For the past year and a half my dad has been in a nursing home after suffering 2 strokes. He had diabetes at an early age (20 or so) and he wasn't taking care of himself. He didn't live with me, he lived in the next state over, about a 2 hour drive. Well, he had to get his leg amputated because of circulatory problems involving his diabetes. He had to go around in a wheelchair. Well, about a month after surgery, he fell out of his wheelchair and cracked his skull opened. He went to the hospital. After he got out, he still wasn't taking care of himself. This is when he suffered his first stroke. He went to the hospital, and soon after, a nursing home. He couldn't move his whole right side. I went to his nursing home to visit him. I think it was some time near fathers day. After we left. A month and a half, 2 months later. He suffered his second stroke in the nursing home. 2 weeks or so ago, my mother told me he had a heart attack and he's in the hospital, hooked up to a machine, slowly dieing. The only thing keeping him alive is that machine. I'm only 13, and my father hasn't been with me for a portion of my life. My older brother had to act as a father figure to me, so it doesn't affect me much. But I get made fun of because of it, (Very rarely, only like twice.) and even though he wasn't there for me most of my life, it still hurts, knowing that a major person in your family is passing away. So seriously guys, stop making fun of people for dead relatives, and family problems. It's happening to all of us, and it could be happening to you. If it isn't, it will be. And get ready for karma. It's a bitch.
(Please read this, but just in case you didn't)
TL;DR My father is really sick and I get made fun of for it. You guys shouldn't make fun of people for their family because karma's a bitch.
