Author Topic: Anyone know of a website that can grab image URLs from a page?  (Read 2183 times)

I have a URL for a wallpaper on a website, but my antivirus won't let me go there (I can get around that, but I'd rather not take the chance.) The URL isn't the address of the picture, but instead a page that displays the picture. Is there a website that can grab the URLs of images displayed on a webpage? I know TinEye can do something like this, but it doesn't always see all the images on the page, and most of the time just sees useless things like images used for buttons and links.

My plan is to get the URL of the wallpaper, upload it to ImageShack, and then download it from there.

uh, right click the image?

Read my post, bro. I don't want to go to the page with the image on it.

Are you trying to steal a wallpaper that is asking you to pay for it

No, the wallpaper is just on a site my anti virus suspects has some sort of spyware/virus.

It lives up to your topic's title, although what you wrote in the topic post kind of makes it seem like the long way around. Either way, it should work.

nop that wont work

1. it requires you to actually be on the page you get images from
2. it is also a program that has to be downloaded (which i dont like, bro)

It's obviously not safe.

1: You don't have to be on the page, you just need the link.
2: How do you expect to download anything without downloading something else. How did you get your web browser?

wat

What do you mean by that

please explain in more detail

I couldn't give you the equivalent of that program in an online form. It would have to hack your browser to start forcing downloads into your computer. What do you expect from a way to download the image?

Besides that, do not upload anything to ImageShack. They purposefully cut the quality for "pay us for service" stuff.

I don't want it to start downloads, I just want it to grab the URL of an image that's on a page.

Quality's been fine for me ever since I've used it for the first time.

Did you stop to consider that, in any case, you're taking the long ass route to it? How about turning off the anti-virus for a moment or adding an exception? You're making the process overly complex.
