Author Topic: Google Image Search  (Read 739 times)

I was on Google Images last night and noticed a new feature. You can drag an image from your desktop or w/e (or put in a link) and it will search for that image. What I mean by that is: If I drag a picture of a Blacks Ops Jeep onto the image search bar, it will search Google with the terms "Black Ops Jeep". It knows what the image is. I think it would be useful for having an image of something(such as a screenshot to a game) that you don't know what it is. You drag it to the search bar and it will tell you what the image is. Try it out and see if it works. I tried it with a Cadillac CTS Interior and came out with Cadillac CTS 2008. I also tried with my Blockland Wallpaper and it gave me the result Blockland. Give it a try.

Go to Google Images
Drag an Image from your Desktop to the Search Bar
Profit?

I know, I'm just proving the point that Google Images is loveier now.

Congratulations Google.
You're loving cheating or some stuff.

Nah, just Google.

Google OS any good?

Google OS any good?

The ChromeOS? I've heard it's fantastic, but I haven't personally used it yet.

ChromeOS wouldn't allow any .exe things. I don't think so anyway.

Microsoft is making a new browser called "Gazelle". They said its going to be innovative. The thing is, they said that about IE9. IE9 was the worst IE yet.

@Mega: You bumped the old topic right after posting that. I'm so sorry I didn't see it. I think it would have been more productive to just say that there was already a topic rather than posting a stretched image and a 16 point link. Was there any reason for bumping the old topic? I think you just wanted to start some drama.

1: Microsoft can't make a good browser, one primary reason being that it's so default that all exploits are known within the first few minutes of launch at most.
2: I made the link and image big because I've noticed more and more that posts listing pre-existing topics are completely ignored. I also bumped the other topic to promote the movement of discussion there. We had conversations going on which somehow died, anyway. Really wanted to finish those. :(

1) I beg to differ. They make the best Chrome downloading browser. Mozilla has some competition.

2) Sorry. I'll lock this topic in a few minutes. Truly didn't see the old one :/
