Author Topic: Want to upgrade to windows 7.  (Read 448 times)

So yeah, I just go windows 7 and finished installing it on my mom's laptop, and I want to install it on mine.

What should I know about this?  What about the data/current programs on my computer? I'm upgrading from vista.

Nothing really, but i think you might have problems with the auth code.

In your C drive will be a folder named something along the lines of "windowsold" which will contain all the files of your old OS. c:

I hope this make you want Seven more.
I heard Burger King in Japan is selling the Windows 7 Burger which is 7 hamburger and some topics on a bun.
Now do you want Windows 7?  :cookieMonster:

If you're using the same authentication code, you'll only get to use it for 30 days, because it won't take it again unless it's on the same PC.

If you're upgrading from different versions, i.e. 32-bit to 64-bit or 64 to 32, you won't be able to upgrade.

>upgrade
>64 to 32
HMMMMMM

nah jk, <3 nick

True, that wouldn't be an upgrade...
