Computer is laggy/slow when Blockland is open

I have a Mac computer and this problem has never happened before. Whenever I go to another program when blockland is open its SO SLOW and when I type outside of blockland it delays ages before it puts it in. Blockland is not slow though.
I'm pretty sure it's not the computer's fault.

Things I have tried

~ Restoring the computer to normal settings
~ Removing EVERYTHING on the computer (WIPING IT ALL OUT)

Could you grab your system specifications from "System Profiler" in Applications?
Judging by your small HDD (120gb), your computer is quite old, so this lag would be expected with an older style CPU.

That's not too bad. It could be a heat issue, amongst other things. Have you done a virus scan?
Also download Malwarebytes and run a scan with that. Alot of the time, malicious programs will hog computer resources.

No. 2GB is more than enough for Blockland and other things, especially as it doesn't seem related to the symptoms he's describing.

No seriously love to see a mac book with 12gb Ram, considering I'm questioning if that is even possible without complete custom modification to your computer.

Pretty sure you would have to upgrade a bunch of other crap to be able to use that RAM.
