I woke up at 6:00 AM today, and I had the choice between watching hoarders and Bakugan: Battle of the who the forget knows (The rest was paid programming which is awful). I would normally pick Hoarders, but I thought I'd look at Bakugan.
The theme song is basically about fighting and, "This is bakugan". Not sure what that means.
But anyway, I remember this because years ago in 6th grade, I clearly remember the 5th graders being obsessed with these little toys, and one kid getting suspended for stealing one. I'm pretty sure this cartoon was created JUST to sell these toys. Surprising enough, next thing up was this show called BeyBlades: Metal Fusion. The theme song was nothing but some guy saying, "BEY BLADE BEY BLADE BEY BLADE BEY BLADE BEY BLADE BEY BLADE BEY BLADE BEY BLADE BEY BLADE BEY BLADE BEY BLADE BEY BLADE BEY BLADE BEY BLADE BEY BLADE" and a few lines of different dialog. I've never seen any beyblade toys before, so I did some googling and found that there is assloads of them.
Somebody explain to my why people need to create cartoons to sell toys now-a-days?
And why Bakugan has been cursed to a 7 AM timeslot yet STILL NOT CANCELED?
