When I got my new Xbox 360 there was a sticker on the controller and on the Xbox 360 itself with a message saying to not move the Xbox when its on with a game inside. WHILE in the manuel it says
Metallic Objects and Stickers
Do not place metallic items or stickers near or on the Xbox 360,
as they can interfere with the controller, wireless networking,
and eject and power buttons.

What. :I

I would imagine that's if the stickers are over the sensors for the Start button and Tray button, as well as the spot for the wifi and controller signals.

They can put stickers on it themselves, because they know not to put the stickers over the sensors.

I would imagine that by them saying "don't put stickers on the Xbox" it's just their way of ensuring they don't get people complaining their Xbox's are broken because they've popped stickers over the sensors.

It doesn't make any difference if you put a sticker on the Xbox, so long as you don't put it anywhere ridiculous.

Probably not, nope. :3

You're stupid. Microsoft is brilliant.

Maybe because they knew you would take off the stickers before you would use it?

You took this seriously? You're the stupid one then.

I did. Lol

Yes, don't move your Xbox while you have a game running in it. It starts making this holyforgetawful noise and you have to eject it real quick or i believe it will break the disc. It's because of the fact that the disc balances inside the console and if you movie it while it's spinning it will start bouncing around a little, causing damage to the Xbox.

yeah, i know from experience. don't do it. it scared me like stuff.

The CD is made of plastic

So I wasnt supposed to put stickers over the vent...
are you loving handicapped

Yea I know from experience...STORY TIME
So my boyscout troop and I were at this house. and there were like 4 guys staying in a room and they had an Xbox 360. One kid thought it would be a good idea to place the Xbox on a matress (this was Feb '10) ANOTHER kid though it was a brilliant idea to jump on that matress thus moving the Xbox and completely destroying MW2

are you loving handicapped

my dad's girlfriend's kids broke two games that way
while the game was playing, they were spinning around and stuff
and they knocked over the Xbox
once with GTA IV, and the other time with L4D

Well, if you touch your XBox 360 while there's a game inside, you get a thing called ''the Ring of Death''.

Bascialy, the Ring of Death is something that puts a ring on the game and you can't play it anymore.

Other than that, I've got nothing.

:I
You dont know what you're talking about.
