GoAnimate is a free and fun animating software that can run in your browser. Make funny shorts, Long videos, and pointless 3 second ones. You can create your own animation with it's own cast and set. OR you can type-a-movie with Pre-selected sets, movements and actors. All you have to do is type. If you want to make your own animation how you want, go to Make a video it is a little more complex but nothing to serious.
