Author Topic: What supplies would you bring in a Zombie Apocalypse?  (Read 30075 times)

What surprises me is that no one thought about this, you can always fish in the ocean and sail away to safe place, here is one.
Go live on an oil rig, they have constant power, and have ways to get water.

Too bad you don't know where you'll be when a zombie apocalypse occurs, you could be miles from the shore let alone an oil rig.
And even then you'd have a hard time surviving the trip over water.

What if the rig catches fire?
Anyways, I'm also suprised into why no one thought about this;
The world isn't going to rebuild itself, you need different people with different skills. You'll also need to resort to books to learn these skills, like if there is a fire, then you'll need someone to put it out, or if there's no food then you'll need hunters, fishermen and so on.

I hae a question, What the forget would you use a laptop for?The internet would be down, and if it wasn't you wouldn't really have anything to talk to/play wth/do.
The Voodoo priests used a Neurotoxin on him. It basically slows you down so much that you are basically dead. When it wears off, you are a normal human again.

I don't think that power loss would lead to the internet crashing.
Spoiler Alert!

No power = No internet

Tom

No power = No internet
Actually most internet data centers/exchanges have backup generators that can keep them running for a couple days, and possibly longer if they can get more fuel.

Yes, because our main use for any of the very scarce fuel we find, will be to keep the internet running. Brilliant idea Tom.

a real zombie will go toward food they see.
a "dead' person under basic non-influence wouldnt be distinguishing sounds and smells.
you wouldnt be able to lure them by anything other then yourself.

Living zombies are cool bro.

I'll need to make some good friends with a variety of skills. I'd try to get a hold of one of those bulletproof bank trucks and bring some basic survival gear. If I didn't have it at hand, I'd raid an army surplux store nearby. I don't have a big plan on where I'd go, either to Canada or Alaska. If not possible for long distance travel, I would find a good apartment complex.

Then again, I think I'll be too lazy and wait for the zombie apocalypse to come to me.  :cookieMonster:

>throw molotov
>stand on side of flames with no zombies
>"come at me bro" stance
>lots and lots of dead zombies
>find beer and rags (and new lighter if old one breaks/can't find it/runs out of fuel)
>repeat

^ lol, but I don't think that would happen

I would barricade myself in my house with enough food for a month and wait until the zombies die of starvation also guns in case one gets in.

Cold climate in any survival situation is a big no-no, Canada and Alaska would be nice places to die though.
