I don't always use IE, but when I do, it's to download another browser

I like using Chrome simply because it works and it gets my job done.  The only bars I need at the top are bookmarks, address bar with a few buttons to access options and etc. and tab bar.

What the forget are you talking about? There's a bar at the bottom, when it completes downloading you click on it to open the file or you can click the down arrow next to it and view it in folder etc.

I clicked on it right away. In firefox, doing that brings up the download menu that shows what downloads are going on and such.

It's still another window, I can't think of a valid reason to have 2+ windows besides a console window for a game.

Ebay[tab] works for searching ebay, Wikipedia doesn't work so I'll give you that one, but I'm used to typing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/____ by now anyway, and who the forget uses ask.com

Sometimes wikipedia doesn't have the exact article name you typed in. Using the search bar is both faster and direct then just trying to type in the address right away.

Oh lord, I just clicked that manage search engines button and how wrong you are. Google Chrome apparently learns from your browsing habits and stores commonly used searches in a list for you to select.

I don't think that's ever happened to me, learn to not misspell big words. I said I'd give you that one, it is faster to use a search bar.

Once again, same. Windows and tabs are a great combo for me, so I guess this part of the argument is pure browsing type opinion.

I've been trying to defend FireFox from the idiots saying "hurr firefox bad get chrome" in every thread that mentions it. Most of the time when the person is asking an entirely different question about it, annoyingly enough.
