That isnt pixel art. That's an indexed GIF resaved as a png. Pixel art is something made pixel-by-pixel, like sprites. Only way this could be pixel art is if it were painted on bricks in-game, which it obviously is not, or if the artist did in fact draw it pixel-by-pixel. Which I seriously doubt.

Actually, it might not be. If it's only 64 colors, then theoretically it COULD be recreated in-game.

It was made by a professional pixel artist and was submitted on an international pixel art site. If it wasn't pixel art, they would have taken it down.

It is impossible to know how the artist drew it unless there is a video showing him drawing it pixel-by-pixel. THEN I'll believe that it is pixel art.

And btw, that video would be over 20 hours long; this stuff takes forever.
