Blockland Ubuntu Skin
The old scheme got old, so why not use the loveiest flavor of linux's?!

Features
  • Ubuntu Mouse
  • Ubuntu Buttons
  • Ubuntu Scrollbars
  • Ubuntu Window Skin

Instructions

Easy
Download the GUI Replacer add-on from http://gr.dataorb.net/ and install it via this.

Manual
Ubuntu Skin for Blockland is not a normal add-on. This add-on reskins much of the game's base files, and should only be installed manually if you have installed a number of add-ons manually before and know how to.

To install this add-on, first unzip the folder onto your desktop. Then navigate to your Blockland directory. This is likely to be C:\Blockland or C:\Program Files\Blockland. Open the "base" folder, then the "client" folder, then the "ui" folder. Open the "ubuntu" folder on your desktop so that you see the images for the skin. Drag these images into the ui folder. When asked if you want to replace them, click "Move and Replace". I also saved the base skins if you want to revert, so you don't have to worry about backing up the old files if you don't want to.

Once you have replaced the original game's skin files with the Ubuntu skin, you just have to reopen Blockland for it to work. Enjoy the new theme!

Note
Reskinning Blockland will not break your game. If you mess up the installation, replace your ui folder with the one in the "Default Theme" link, and your Blockland will work fine.

Besides the orange and alitttle bit of windows aero sceme. It looks alot like default blockland. Didn't make
anything new with the main menu. still good job 3/5 [No download tho]

Make a mac - style one with some apples :D

But...

I expected it to be a blacker colour. :(

6 post WOO!

Eh its ok it just has a orange skin is all.

Also were you aiming for it to look similar to Clearlooks, or do you even know what I'm talking about. :p

Maybe that's why it's called a skin?

I like the black ubuntu theme better.

Finally! Wait. Ubuntu 10.04 or Earlier?

I was aiming for it to look like Ubuntu Linux.

That's the Clearlooks theme. You know there's more, right?

Could you upload this to the GUI Replacer please?

I noticed after a bit of research. I only used ubuntu briefly but I liked the theme, after about 6 hours I converted to arch linux and fluxbox.

Side note, easy instructions using the Gui Replacer added to OP.
