Apache gunner sucks ass, you almost never egt to shoot.
You'd first need like 500 permissions before you can kill people.
And the only time you get to shoot at will is if they attack you.

Don't care. I'm not even sure i'm going to be a gunner, it's just the position I WANT to be in. I still have to graduate near the top of my flight class.

Apaches are called Uglies to everyone on the ground, they're pretty good at making the ragheads run the forget away. You can also irritate ground crews once you've gotten permission from everyone and their dogs to fire by dropping a shower of hot brass on their heads.
