Well, you know that forts are impenetrable and extremely safe, so why WOULDN'T you make a couch fort? You know, one that you could easily get in? Totally. Take all non-perishable food items from here, then ascend, enter kitchen, look through drawers for a can opener, also inspect other side of this room. Possibly make this room a saferoom?
