Automatic ammo pickup takes me out of the experience I had in uncharted 2. I now don't have to worry about my ammo count which provides a bigger challenge when you worry about low ammo, I could accidentally drop my weapon and my team mate who has the same weapon walks over it and collects less than 10 bullets, I no longer have the choice between wanting less than 10 bullets or over 100 bullets since I can't leave a weapon on the ground and come back to it later.

It wasn't even that deep in UC2.  I could usually pick up any ammo I saw.  I doubt any of the stuff you're whining about has even happened to you in the game anyway.  You're whining for the sake of whining.

They are just dumbing down the multiplayer for a more casual audience. Hell even in single player there is automatic ammo pickup.

The whole automatic ammo pickup issue has been receiving mixed criticism already.

I actually have more issues picking up a weapon instead of picking up treasure. It's rare for me to actually find ammo for my modified Gmal anyways, if anything ammo should be manual and treasure picking should be automatic.

I still had more fun in the Duke Nukem Forever multiplayer. Nothing is more satisfying than chucking pipe bombs at others.

I know it makes the gameplay smoother, but smoother does not necessarily equal better. If anything, they should just let people pick shat they want to use, rather than force people to use a mechanic many people are used to. But in all honesty, if you're a true fan, you'll buy the game no matter if it has auto-ammo pick up or not.
