Window 7 taskbar peek not working

Those who have Windows 7 are probably familiar with the ability to hover your cursor over an application's icon, and preview windows will pop up. Mine, however, seems to have stopped working. I can't find it in any preferences. Does anyone know how to change this back?

that happened to me with my browser. I just happened to have a ton of tabs open so it was loving ridiculous. I just closed it and reopened it.
