Author Topic: How good is this gaming pc?  (Read 2222 times)

C and D are the same drive, so there are 4 physical drives total.
I don't see the need for so many hard drives. 1TB will suit me for a long while even if I download lots of junk.

Hell, you don't even need 1 TB unless you download a ton of stuff on your computer that you need.

pretty good methinks

I have filled previous hard drives quickly before because of my steam games which took up 70% of their space, having a hard drive which will last a long while is good enough for me.

Several hard drives are amazing for spreading out startup applications. I can go from my computer being off to surfing the internet is about a minute. Most people don't realize that programs take forever to load because hard drives can only do one thing at a time, so having startup applications loading off multiple drives really speeds up logging on and getting to using your computer. The less used drives are also great for the pagefile.

Ingenious.

Does anyone remember the 4 GB hard drives during the 1990's - 2000?
Lots of defragging.

I have 2 Hard drives, one is 1TB and the other is 750GB. The 750GB is separated into 4 partitions.

Is really good if you can spare the extra cash.

Or, even this, if you wanted to spend a little bit on a GPU:

I can speak for Acer, they make better quality products than most other prebuilt brands.

You probably don't want a monitor, but at least look at this cheapness:

That's $559 + $45 for GPU after rebate, $604.
Just a suggestion.

EDIT: Unless you wish to build one yourself, this is one of the better deals.
