timelines are a funny business. I prefer to think of multiple timelines, however others seem to enjoy a single timeline where she was just destined to go back in time anyway.

The thing is, she would be busy thinking about herself coming back in time to visit her and preventing the events that made her look like future Twilight that she wouldn't think to go back in time, because the might think it would make her look more like future Twilight, meaning she never went back to warn herself, making the entire episode never happened.
