also, thanks to /r/mlpdrawingschool I found a neat way to do it via Photoshop - The pen tool! Using it, I can create a vector mask, one I can constantly tweak until its perfect, which will remove the scarf bits. it'll take some time though.

So I tried it for a few minutes and this is what I can tell:
They're loving wonderful developers, the game seems solid as hell even with the alpha feel. One of the most intresting things I saw was on of Pinkies ability's is to fly off screen and pop out of a recently shot present (From her canon attack) it was very cool and creative.

Here's a response from one of the developers.

Hi, I'm a dev. It's not finished. It's not close to finished. It's not a beta leak, or a demo leak, it's an ALPHA leak. Fighting games do not do open BETA builds, let alone open ALPHA builds.

We aren't a company. We don't get paid. Our testers don't get paid. In one stuffty move, we just lost our entire QA team. We can't buy another one. We just lost our ONLY chance to make a first impression. There was a lot of positive energy tied up in making a good first impression, instead, people's first impression is now a not even 50% finished game. Because we don't get paid, positive energy and anticipation is what keeps us going. We lost a good chunk of it today, and it may take a while for us to recover it.

We don't want free marketing, and we don't need it. Our budget is already zero, or negative. There is very little positive about this, but we are trying to at least minimize the negative.

I hope you can understand our reaction given those facts, that you may not have considered.

We hope people who have the leaked version enjoy it, but we'd far prefer it not to have happened.

Honestly they shouldn't be mad/sad about it because I think this will get people even more hyped for it to be finished. The major thing this did for me at least is reassure me that it's not going to be disappointing when it comes out.

you just realized this? i thought the moment you get photoshop you're supposed to experiment with everything so you get a gist of what's what
