I've always thought of it as the outlines, because y'know, lipstick would be too weird since they don't usually wear lipstick in the show

is it not possible to make it the same color as the rest of them? it is 3D and i don't think I see any person around here walking around with a black outline around them

I was turning an image of pinkie's face into one of lyra's for an avatar (as seen here) and a single hue change to the entire picture turned pinkie's coat, outline, and eyes into almost exactly the correct colors for lyra
