after doing some figures last night, the bronycon event could be a $1000 trip
obviously the highest cash sapper is the hotel. i'm told prices would probably simmer as the day gets closer, but being someone who has never traveled or used websites like these before it sort of makes me nervous.
essentially though, i have two plans. one involves trains and buses to get to baltimore, and the other uses a plane + hotel package thing. the latter is the currently the cheapest idea but hopefully i can figure out ways to chop expenses down (cheaper flights, cheaper h/motels, anything lol). both of these plans are based on single room for a single person too
in the long run, i have a better basic idea and funds goal.
